STÖHR ARMATUREN on the road to success
New employee after successful tradeshow
The first presence at the ACHEMA in Frankfurt from May 15th to May 19th, 2006 was a big success.
More than 100 visitors, who showed great interest in the new products, had been received by the exhibition team.
For an optimal customer service after the exhibition and for the professional extension of new business Mr. Volker Müller, certified engineer, became a member of the STÖHR team with effect from June 1st, 2006.
STÖHR ARMATUREN had been present at the ACHEMA in Frankfurt, the world forum of the process industry, with an own stand for the first time. The international professional public was interested in special applications and projects.
The most important experience from the exhibition for the managing directors of STÖHR ARMATUREN, Mr. Manfred Jochum and Mr. Stephan Roters, was the fact that there is again a positive trend in this industrial sector. There are increasing turnovers and the need of investments into innovations is apparent. "The exhibition showed us that there is an increasing demand for specialties and we keep up with the time with our products", Manfred Jochum describes the outcome of the exhibition.
STÖHR ARMATUREN presented sophisticated products like the valve series STICKS with an unrivalled low residual heat input on the one hand, but was very open on the other hand for discussions concerning the development of custom-oriented products for special applications as for example for Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik (DLR).
From June 1st Mr. Volker Müller is responsible for the sales areas of Germany, Switzerland and Scandinavia as well as for special customers and projects in other countries. Besides his ideal technical training he has a long job experience, collected from 1986 in different companies producing equipment for the gas industry. At last he was working for a swiss company with an italian headoffice close to Turin. Due to his international experience he is predestined in supporting STÖHR ARMATUREN with the planned expansion also to Scandinavia.
"We are very happy to have with Volker Müller a team member with a lot of experience and contacts in this industrial sector, and who is also humanly in line with us", Manfred Jochum and Stephan Roters declare unanimously.
"My challenge is the extension and stabilising of the existing customer connections and the development of new markets for the new products", says Volker Müller. "First of all we have to develop new customers and find new sales partners in those markets where STÖHR ARMATUREN was not present as yet and not known to the professional public", Volker Müller summarises his future tasks.
The traditional company STÖHR ARMATUREN, located at Königsbrunn has been at the market since 1938. 20 employees in research, development and production manufacture precision valves for example for the aerospace industry. The turnover in the year 2005 was more than 3 million EURO.
