ELLIPS – the STÖHR ARMATUREN patent with full bore
The elliptic valve seat allows the free medium flow in open position. ELLIPS valves are very interesting, when low flow loss is required. The Y-type valve also offers considerable advantage for the installation. The manually operated valve is particularly suitable for oxygen service. It is available in size DN 25 / PN 40 and suitable for temperatures to 77 K (-196°C). Other sizes and pressures will be manufactured individually, also for temperatures to 1,5 K (-271,5°C).
